Still Pertinent Articles on Shipping

Shipping and maritime have always been an essential element of our daily lives, whether we pay attention to it or not. Probably ‘Just-In-Time’ inventory is the logistics management concept most pertinent to shipping, but again, movement of cargoes and trade and exchange of ideas and effectively interaction among cultures were depending on ships sailing since time immemorial. No wonder that shipping and maritime have been often in the news, sometimes more often than we’d care about and sometimes for the wrong reasons, we have to admit.
